Bexi Owen has a solid 40s/50s repertoire and also runs a music project working with dementia patients. She is available for private parties and corporate events. Bexi is a talented 40s 50s vocalist performing throughout the UK on stage and off. She is also available throughout the North West as a welcome addition to the Care Home sector. With her knowledge and understanding of what it takes to entertain at such important places she is the ideal.
You can rest assured that Bexi Owen has a lot of care home experience but is also available for private parties and corporate events. She will come prepared to entertain with a small PA. 1940’s and 1950’s Music: 40’s: Swing, Big band, Jazz, Latin and Country music dominated and defined the decade’s music. After World War II, the big band sounds of the earlier part of the decade has been gradually replaced by crooners and vocal pop.
50’s: Rock and roll, doo-wop, pop, swing, rhythm and blues, blues, country and rockabilly dominated and defined the decade’s music. Rock and roll dominated popular music in the later half during the late 1940s and early 1950s and quickly spread to much of the rest of the world.
